Interview with Claudia
What have I learned the most?
In professional terms, from my work in a leadership position, when I had to learn that good intentions do not necessarily lead to good outcomes. And from my self-employed work: here I learn that I can rely on myself. Psychologically, by facing the most feared situations and the experience that they can be managed and are often overrated. On an emotional level, I learn every day from my husband. My children teach me to take myself less seriously in a positive way. My dog has taught me patience and that it is worthwhile. Yoga and Qi Gong show me paths of understanding that cannot be gained on a rational level. But most of all, I have actually learned through failure and overcoming crisis situations.
Why did I become a trainer / consultant?
To do what I do best: to offer understanding, respect, warmth, and a sincere, analytical perspective to people in difficult situations and processes. And because I gain energy when I accompany and support people in reaching their full potential and maximizing their capabilities. In short: it makes me happy to see people becoming happier, and I consider myself successful when they become more successful.
Which project is waiting to be realized?
There are two: inviting Woody Allen for a coffee and a conversation. Working in an orangutan reserve in Borneo.
What is particularly important to me?
World peace? Seriously: that every person and even every living being can develop healthily, happily, and satisfactorily according to their potentials. I wish that everyone enables the greatest number of follow-up actions for others in their decisions and actions. This means to me: living responsibly in an increasingly complex world. Shaping relationships, whether professional or private, against this background is important to me.
With whom / what can I not deal at all?
Traits that I find unpleasant in people: lack of commitment, interpretative arrogance, emotional coldness, irresponsibility. I have learned to "deal with it," but it costs me energy to remain patient and respectful in the process. Otherwise: I have a problem with sharks and with mathematics.
