Interview with David
What have I learned the most from?
From challenges in the true sense. Regardless of whether they ultimately turned out to be a success or a failure. Confronting my own fears has taught me both courage and humility. Along this path, it became clear to me that a large part of our supposed limitations are not given by nature, but are individually learned and internalized.
Appreciating what has become and yet boldly exploring the new - this principle, combined with my joy in reflecting on my experiences, forms the foundation of my development.
In line with the guiding thought:
"Change, not talk, is the teaching of the wise" (Laozi).
Why did I become a trainer / consultant?
My path to becoming a trainer leads through myself and the reflection of my experiences to the realization of the plasticity of our existence. Every existing form represents only one possible manifestation from an inexhaustible multitude of possibilities. In this, we are not victims, but shapers of our destiny - if we consciously choose to do so. This applies equally to individuals, teams, and entire organizations. Accompanying systems a bit on their path of change and development feels like my calling and is profoundly meaningful and fulfilling.
What is particularly close to my heart?
People, life, encounters, contact - all of this carried by mindfulness and respect and filled with joy in our existence.
With whom / what can I not deal at all?
Sometimes with myself. Mostly with ignorance. Always with lethargy & indifference.
Which experience has shaped my journey as a coach the most?
Death. And life. The realization of how close both are together and how fundamentally important it is to creatively and actively take responsibility for our existence.
