Interview with Mechtild
What have I learned the most from?
From my own deep life crises. From encountering the systemic approach. From my theater work. From people who have shown me what is possible.
Why did I become a trainer / consultant?
This profession brings together everything I can do and who I am. This is where my passion comes from. Did I know or suspect this when I chose this career path? The essence always reveals itself in the process…!
What project is waiting to be realized?
A book.
What is particularly close to my heart?
The contact and work with completely different people / systems / cultures.
With whom / what can I not get along at all?
I struggle with contemporaries who claim that the world is definitely as they see it.
Which experience has shaped my development as a coach the most?
The realization that behind any human behavior there is a good intention in terms of system preservation. Having been a client myself and having experienced this. The recurring phrase from my teaching supervisor many years ago during my training: “Well, people are like that. You should learn to lovingly acknowledge this!”
