In the 1920s, William Moulton Marston explored the question of what emotions and behaviors typical people exhibit and how they can be distinguished.
He observed that people perceive their environment differently and assess themselves in relation to that environment in various ways.

Based on this, Marston developed a system for understanding and describing human behavior. Using this model, it is possible to reflect on one’s own behavior in a wide variety of situations and—if desired—to change it. Furthermore, it helps to recognize and understand the behavior of others and to acknowledge it as a positive enrichment.

By making behavior visible, it is therefore possible to explore one’s own map as well as the map of the other person and to foster understanding rather than misunderstanding.

In DISG (Dominance-Initiative-Steadiness-Conscientiousness), behavior can be analyzed at various levels using written profiles.
The desired depth and intensity of engagement with these behaviors can be determined on an individual basis.

DISG serves as a foundation for individual coaching, team processes, or as a basis for highly personalized sales and marketing support.
