Goals

On this day, we will focus on two dimensions of design thinking:

  • The possibility to create innovations based on customer needs
  • Get to know the mindset and process of design thinking as a guiding principle for change and transformation in the company

You will experience what design thinking is and the mindset that characterizes it You will get to know the customer-centered design process and gain insight into the interplay between people, process and space. You will reflect on what is already in place in your company and where the principles of design thinking can be applied in a meaningful and target-oriented way. We will examine the entire process, work out the challenges and possible applications and apply various techniques and exercises directly.

After this seminar, you will know what concrete next steps you want to take in your company or with your team in the direction of Design Thinking, what potential the process and the underlying mindset has for your context. And you will know what you still need for this. The day will be colorful, dynamic and intensive.

Contents and Guiding Questions

  • What does customer-centric design (really) mean?
  • Is design thinking a panacea? Where and when does it make sense to use this method?
  • To what extent do you already work in a customer-centric way in your company? What are your challenges? And what experiences have you had?
  • What are specific tools that you can use on a daily basis?
  • What can a customer-centric design thinking process look like for you, your team and your company? What will be easy to implement and what less so? Where do you still need support?
  • Where can design thinking be used in a targeted manner in change processes?
