Building a fire.

A campfire traditionally symbolizes a place for gathering and conversation/exchange. When many people gather around a fire, new insights, energy, and commitment emerge. When properly guided and channeled, the fire’s energy permeates the entire organization. But be careful: Don’t play with fire! That’s why the essential part of the organizational conference takes place BEFORE the conference. There, we work with you to design and plan the flow and every single step. Creating space for the unexpected, the new, the surprising—and even the critical: Absolutely! But please do so in a way that ensures your organization’s fire blazes, warms, and inspires, rather than turning into an unwelcome wildfire.

Engage, don’t just lecture.

To tame the potentially chaotic and threatening nature of a large gathering of people, major events are often strictly pre-planned in terms of content, e.g., down to the questions and answers on a panel. At an organizational conference with Janus, planning is also involved, but we limit ourselves to structure and process. This allows the content to flow freely and maximizes the return for your company. Participants are highly active and engaged with the content, while a well-planned and confidently led conference unfolds around them. This way, you draw fully on the collective expertise of those gathered.

We utilize all proven methods of the “Big 5” for large-group facilitation: Open Space, Future Conference, World Café, AI (Appreciative Inquiry), and RTSC (Real-Time Strategic Change). Rarely in their pure form, but usually in a design tailored to your needs and goals. Depending on the occasion, we integrate elements such as panel discussions, business theater, and keynote speakers.

People love to look into the fire, and so organizational conferences naturally play a significant role in corporate change processes. Sometimes they are the starting point for a larger transformation. They should always be embedded within a larger whole. Because once things start moving, you’d better already have a roadmap for the path ahead in hand.

Let’s talk.
