Goals
You will improve your personal awareness of the processes and development phases of a group and receive feedback on your own behavior, your own impact and your preferred roles. You will experiment with new ways of acting and thus expand your personal behavioral repertoire in dealing with teams. And you will be able to react appropriately to the situation when working with a group, e.g. take the lead or address disruptions.
Contents and Guiding Questions
The seminar offers a powerful and challenging setting:
You will experience the formation and development of a group at first hand and have the opportunity to examine and understand impact factors in teams, just like in a laboratory. You can examine your own impact and effectiveness in teams, find out how your personality influences cooperation and work dynamics and learn to understand and shape group processes.
- Performance and teamwork – how are they connected?
- Group processes – How does a team develop, what phases of development are there and at what levels can I act in each phase?
- Group roles – What roles are there and which role do I normally prefer?
- Leading and managing teams – Which behaviors promote trust-building, decision-making and goal orientation?
- Conflicts in groups – Why are they so valuable and so difficult at the same time? How can I tap into the constructive power of conflict?
- Feedback – How do my self-perception and the perception of others differ? How can I support others in expanding their self-image?
Benefit for your Company
Teams form the central performance unit in organizations, which is why this seminar supports
- Your managers in the task of forming or leading a new team by learning how to set the right impulses for optimal cooperation right from the start,
- your employees to quickly recognize, address and deal with blockages in their own team and thus increase the productivity of working groups,
- all participants to recognize destructive group patterns and roles in themselves and others and to take targeted countermeasures,
- project managers and employees to (re)find the common thread towards project success in the maze of different options for action and interests.
Self-organized Bodywork
Janus RessourcenmanagementIn this unique setting, the participants organize and design their own body-oriented seminar program. Deciding on and conducting - more or less - challenging seminar units fuels and inspires the group process and enables additional insights and aha-experiences about personal impact and effectiveness in groups.
