Janus’ intention is to serve the development of people and organizations.
So far, so good, so evident. Two more (additional?) aspects are important to us.
Firstly, we want to be available for our customers when they need us. Like the fox demands of the little prince, we feel responsible for the people and organizations with whom we established a relationship built on trust. Therefore, in times of crises, we are always accessible.
Secondly, we follow our own goals. Some would say our own mission. You could call that subversive – although it is not anymore since we are openly writing about it.
We believe that organizations are not the end in themselves, rather that they also need to serve and contribute to people and society.
We would like (to be able) to talk about that contribution.

We see ourselves as service providers and process consultants.
In our understanding, process consulting starts at the very beginning – by clarifying the contract with our customers.
We will reflect our customers’ goals and solutions and raise questions.
Sometimes this might feel uncomfortable – most of the times it leads to a better understanding of your situation and deepens our cooperation.
Sometimes it leads to the decision that we don’t “fit”.
We highly appreciate personality. Within our own team, our trainers as well as customers.
Someone with personality dares to live his individual uniqueness - with all edges.
Knows himself well as well as his limits.
Someone with personality is very honest to himself and towards others, someone who is emotionally approachable and impressionable.
We do expect the willingness and courage for personal growth from ourselves as well as from our trainers and consultants.
We do know, that it sometimes can feel strenuous to find one’s true self and personality.
We do know that it takes effort and courage to encounter with others on this path.

As with a person, gaining energy and strength by staying emotionally approachable and working his way through to the core, also an organization growths by facing its core subjects.
At the core, that is from where we work most effectively. Where the biggest contribution is to be found– for the whole to be successful and/or for the joy of the people.
That is why our customers will again and again hear the question “what is it that is actually important?” – or a variation of this question.
If we came closer to the core subject or not is something that we don’t only recognize with our intellect, but also with our heart. If the relevant question is formulated or a solution that really fits is found, suddenly we experience clarity. The fog is gone.
If something becomes clear, it can be spoken out.

If a situation becomes tense or tricky, delicate questions have to be raised - it is important to be in touch with oneself as well as with others.
It is also important to find or maintain a position and stand.
We support our customers in staying connected with themselves as well as with each other. In having the courage and trust to appreciate and respect each other.
At the same time the challenge is to carry out the conflict and come to an agreement, which will be supported by all.
Sometimes the task is to notice and bear difficult and strenuous situations. To explore one’s own limits, connected with the question “how - in all that - can I take good care of myself and contribute”?
We constantly remind ourselves as well as our customers that we can only be efficient and contribute, if we are connected to our energy and strength.

Success of a company is more than economic success.
We are proud of our accomplishments.
Our market position. Our lived values. The way we are connected within our team.
The joy we (most of the time) experience in our work, the compassion with which we face our and our customer’s challenges.
We want to create growth – success - for our customers.
Growth in the sense of development. Following common goals, bringing compassion to the task at hand. Living values, which are shared and worth living for everyone.

In our seminars, workshops, coaching, team and organizational developments we will respectfully explore limitations.
Very often something new will come into being. A new path.
This has no magic to it. It’s rather the result of joyfully and courageously exploring unknown territory.
We ourselves are neither above or beside – we are right in the middle of the process.
We are not talking theory here. Janus in his history went through many changes and is continuously in the process of change.
Step by step we are exploring and expanding our limitations.
We are giving attention to that – in order to grow.

There is always more than one way.
We strive to be effective.
Therefore, we spend a lot of care and energy in clarifying our contracts with our customers.
Sometimes, if we believe, know or have the gut feeling that we cannot be effective, we might even refuse to take it.
Often we recommend taking one step at a time. Since the path often presents itself on the way.
